Telemedicine - New Perspectives for Germany
Under this motto national and international telemedicine experts will meet October 25 and 26, 2012 to exchange information and experiences at the Ellington Hotel in Berlin. More than 250 German and international participants from various medical specialties, initiators of projects as well as representatives from business, science and politics are expected
Berlin ,09.08.2012. Already now the motto of the congress „Telemedicine - New Perspectives for Germany“ is promising fascinating discussions about national e-health developments in Germany, France, USA and Sweden. The discussion with representatives of German medical associations and exciting reports from different current projects constitute additional focus’. Board members of 5 scientific medical associations will present their view on telemedicine and on patient care according to their guidelines as well as their respective considerations. In 2012 - for the first time and in cooperation with working committee of the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Medizinische Informatik, Biometrie und Epidemiologie e. V. (GMDS - German Association for Medical Information Technology, Biometrics and Epidemiology)- the program will include a scientific session with contributions selected from a call for papers.
