American Telemedicine Association (ATA)
Telemedicine is changing the world and ATA is the world of telemedicine. The American Telemedicine Association is the leading international resource and advocate promoting the use of advanced remote medical technologies. ATA and its diverse membership, works to fully integrate telemedicine into transformed healthcare systems to improve quality, equity and affordability of healthcare throughout the world.
Established in 1993 as a non-profit organization and headquartered in Washington, DC, membership in the Association is open to individuals, healthcare institutions, companies and other organizations with an interest in promoting the deployment of telemedicine throughout the world. ATA is governed by a Board of Directors, which is elected by the association´s membership.

E-HEALTH-COM
E-HEALTH-COM is the independent review for healthcare telematics, telemedicine and health-IT. Published every other month, the review is covering issues touching the German e-health-community; at the same it is offering a platform to the community for communication. DGTelemed has agreed a close cooperation with E-HEALTH-COM in order to exchange ideas and to support each other as well as to promote telemedicine and e-health in Germany.
Members of DGTelemed receive E-HEALTH-COM for free.

MedComm
MedComm arbeitet seit 2008 mit Informationsaufbereitung, Veranstaltungen und Projekten besonders in den Bereichen eHealth/ Telemedizin, Gesundheitsberufe und Profilierung des Gesundheitsstandorts, an der Vernetzung der Gesundheitsakteure in Südholstein. Ab Mitte 2011 geht das Projekt in eine zweite Phase. Die Themen der ersten Laufzeit werden weitergeführt und fortentwickelt. Die Unterstützung des Fachkräftemarkts durch Marketing für den Ausbildungsstandort, die Entwicklung eines Gesamtkonzepts für den Gesundheitsstandort und der weitere Netzwerkausbau werden dabei im Vordergrund stehen. Innovative Modellprojekte wie der Gesundheitspark Bad Segeberg werden weiter begleitet.
Die Deutsche Gesellschaft für Telemedizin e.V. begrüßt das Engagement des Kreises Segeberg für den Gesundheitsstandort und befürwortet eine Fortsetzung des Projekts MedComm - Regionalmanagement Gesundheit Südholstein. Bei Projekten und Veranstaltungen, die den Zuständigkeitsbereich der Deutschen Gesellschaft für Telemedizin e.V. berühren, stehen wir als Ansprechpartner und Unterstützer zur Verfügung.

MedicaMedia
MedicaMedia is an independent forum for e-health, telemedicine and medical IT. MedicaMedia is providing the latest information on research, development and use of telematics in healthcare, is promoting the interdisciplinary exchange of experience on technological potentials and acceptance of telemedicine, is supporting the establishment of networks and cooperation of knowledge and technology transfer.
MedicaMedia – on the occasion of the world´s largest healthcare fait Medica in Düsseldorf – is bringing together national and international experts in telemedicine. DGTelemed is supporting this forum and is cooperating closely with its organizers.

Center for Telematics in Healthcare (ZTG)
ZTG is the competence center for healthcare telematics. ZTG and DGTelemed have agreed to cooperate closely. Both partners are convinced that that telemedicine is an important instrument for the modernisation and future performance of healthcare. Both partners are motivated to bring forward the rational evaluation and application of telemedicine and to put it on a broad basis. An important focus of their cooperation is the internet portal www.telemedizin24.de as platform for an innovative strategy to promote telemedicine.

International Society for Telemedicine & eHealth
DGTelemed is associated member of ISfTeH. The main concern of ISfTeH is to promote international knowledge and experience in telemedicine. The international activity and the access to international experts in telemedicine are also in the interest of DGTelemed. The cooperation and the exchange of experience with members of ISfTeH will enable DGTelemed to realign quality and aspirations of telemedicine according international standards.

Austrian Scientific Society for Telemedicine and e-Health (ASSTeH)
ASSTeH is promoting the cooperation among individuals and corporate bodies in the area of telemedicine by sharing experiences in medicine, telematics, IT, law healthcare economy and other related fields. ASSTeH is contributing to the promotion of research and development in the use of telemedicine adapted to the specific geographical and social circumstances of Austria. The cooperation of ASSTeH and DGTelemed was decided on 19 January 2007 in Seefeld/Tyrolia.

Swiss Society for Telemedicine (SGTM)
SGTM is promoting actively telemedicine and its application in all fields of medicine, of healthcare and of research and is setting standards for telemedical workflows and processes. It is a platform for physicians, developers and providers of technical solutions in order to develop and use the most modern means of communication in patient care. Physicians are to be educated and trained in the latest and future-oriented applications of telemedicine.

palliaHOMEmed e.V.
Zu Hause bleiben bis zuletzt! Dieses Ziel hat sich palliaHOMEmed gesetzt und möchte dem Wunsch der überwiegenden Zahl von Patienten, zu Hause im Kreise der Angehörigen in Würde zu versterben und zuletzt von ihrem vertrauten Hausarzt mitbehandelt zu werden, mit Hilfe der Telemedizin nachkommen. Die Installation einer möglichst einfachen, zuverlässigen und benutzerfreundlichen telemedizinischen Technik mit Bild- und Tonübertragung beim Patienten zuhause sowie an einer Klinik (Palliativeinheit bzw. SAPV-Team) und an einem überregionalen Kompetenzzentrum soll dazu verhelfen.

Fachverband Biomedizinische Technik e.V.
Der fbmt vereint Ingenieure, Techniker der Medizin- und Krankenhaustechnik, Ärzte, sowie andere an der Medizin- und Krankenhaustechnik Interessierte. Die Mitglieder arbeiten u.a. in Krankenhäusern, in der medizintechnischen Industrie, in Planungsbüros, Serviceunternehmen und Hochschulen in den deutschsprachigen Ländern Europas. Die Fachtagung des fbmt, der Wümek hat sich als Fachkongress in 12 Jahren etabliert. Die DGTelemed ist Kooperationspartner auf Wümek und gestaltet den Fachprogrammteil Telemedizin mit.
