DGTelemed
DGTelemed wants to extend the knowledge about the manifold potentials of healthcare - especially of telemedicine and e-health - within and outside of healthcare organisations, business, science, and politics; it also wants to promote cooperation among the various players in the interest of an optimal healthcare.
The potentials of modern information and communication technology are to optimize cooperation, networking and patient care as well as to encourage the development of healthcare networks in dimensions unheard of until now. Existing telemedical potentials in well-provided regions will be presented publicly and be made sustainably available in less well provided regions. Telemedicine shall acquire a new dimension of quality by transferring telemedical projects into regular healthcare services.
